This spring, help support sick kids in our community

monitoring systems for the pediatric ward at VJH.

Help to increase the number of high-acuity pediatric spaces at VJH

Children in our region are being admitted to hospital in higher numbers than ever and our high-acuity pediatric beds are at max capacity.

For a critically ill child, central monitoring is essential because it enables pediatric patients to be monitored 24/7; alerting the medical team the second a child’s breathing or heart rate changes.

You have the power to make sure that every child in our community gets the best care, as close to home as possible.

“When there’s an emergency on the peds floor, the faster we can respond, and the more accurate the data, the better the outcomes for patients and their families.”

- Dr. Kathryn MacKinlay, Pediatrician
