Vernon Golf & Country Club Donates $6,000 to VJH Foundation
Earlier this summer, members of the Vernon Golf & Country Club’s Senior Men’s League presented the VJH Foundation with a cheque for $6,000, thanks to the generosity of league members.
As part of the initiative, each member was asked to make a $20 donation to the Foundation in exchange for being entered into a draw for one of five special prizes donated by Club members. The fundraiser was led by committee members Dave Murison, Ken Bushell, and Gerry Skura.
“All our members were happy to support our initiative, and with a little hard work, we actually sold out 4 days early,” says Dave Murison.
