Nathan Campbell Donates Birthday Fund to Kids at VJH
Nathan Campbell wanted to make his milestone double-digit birthday a memorable one. For his 10th birthday, he decided it’s better to give than receive.The grade four student encouraged his friends to donate money to his Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation donation fund instead of buying him a present.Nathan collected $210 from his party, plus a matching donation from his parents who own Great Canadian Oil change. Nathan requested the $420 donation be designated to help sick babies at Vernon Jubilee Hospital.
“Kids are the future of our community, so we need to help them to make a better future for everyone,” he said.
