The Movement Run’s Move4Mom raises more than $100K in support of cancer care

What started as a small fundraiser in memory of Oliver Stankiewicz’s mom, Laura, has turned into a phenomenon of local generosity. Thanks to the incredible support of the community - and Oliver’s mind boggling endurance and commitment to running a marathon every day in May! - this year’s Move4Mom event raised more than $100,000. All proceeds will go towards the Vernon Jubilee Hospital’s Seed Localization Project, which is improving the accuracy and efficiency of breast cancer treatment and making the process more comfortable for patients.

“This year, we wanted to see how far we could take this, and thanks to all of you, we went further than we could have ever imagined. Thank you! – Oliver & Marie
