Amy and Wit are ongoing supporters of the Foundation, donating funds from restaurant sales. They took over the ownership of Boa-Thong eight years ago. Located in downtown Vernon, Boa-Thong has won many local awards for best Thai and Asian restaurant in the North Okanagan.
Their donation will be designated to areas of most urgent need at VJH. There are more than 50 areas of care that donors can choose to contribute to, including the Emergency Department, McMurtry-Baerg Cancer Centre, Diabetic Daycare, Lions Vision Centre, Women's & Children's Health and Patient Comfort.
