Vernon Elk’s Lodge Donates to Light a Bulb

The Vernon Elks’ Lodge #45 is once again supporting Light a Bulb with a generous $1,000 donation! Funds will help purchase endoscopic equipment for cancer screening at VJH.  Endoscopes are critical diagnostic tools that can detect early cancers as they feature exceptional clarity in imaging. Army Navy Air Force Unit #5 Donates to Light a Bulb

Our appreciation goes out to the Army Navy Air Force Unit #5 for their $2,000 donation to Light a Bulb. Andrea Egan (middle) from VJH Foundation accepted the cheque on behalf of the Foundation. The Ladies’ Auxiliary also donated $500 to the McMurtry-Baerg Cancer Centre. Lorraine Woodroff and Jim Chapman from ANAF presented more than $30,000 in donations to local charities and non profit organizations!
